I've been thinking! I do that sometime!

It seems to me, in this season of crisis, we are dropping the baton in the demonstration of the Christian Faith leaving in the wake probable lost souls and the abandomment of the Kingdom.

We are so focused on the natural and the concerns of the Nation that we are forsaking the concerns of the Kingdom that we are commanded to seek first.

We are syncretizing Christanity and patriotism. We are making synonymous the Christan faith and the  American dream as though one is equal to the other.

Our arch enemy, the Devil, works both sides of the street. He will hop the fence to bring about his destructive results.

Meaning - the evangelical focus seemingly is often distracted by the fight for the Amercian traditions and making America great again and how dare you take a knee when the American flag is waving! You can't love God and kneel at the flag!! The other side of the fence; Social justice is the true expression of our American heritage! After all, Black Lives Matter and racial equality is God's first priority!

Both arguments present so much passion! So that, the Church, the Kingdom of God advocates become distracted from their spiritual passion for the Kingdom to the issue they are drawn. In the meantime, seeking the Kingdom first slides down the totum pole of priorities. In the balance, Christanity is mis-represented, souls may be lost and the kingdom is minimized.

It is my belief that the saddest division of the day is not liberals vs consertative, or black vs white, but rather the division of Christ followers influenced more by their life orientations and political affiliations than by their common redemption through Jesus Christ.

Let's not kick to the curb a divine opportunity to show the presence, power and the person of light, the Lord Jesus Christ. Rightly so, the enemy has meant it all for harm and God has suffered it to be so that good can come from it! The command is "seek first the Kingdom of God, its righteousness and all the other things will be added". Matt 6:33
